About
Kasary is a band that revives the tradition of Belarusian male singing.
Their repertoire, based on archival recordings of traditional Belarusian songs, includes warrior songs, mower songs, feast and lyrical songs.
The band was formed in late 2023 in Warsaw, and all of its members are originally from Belarus.
In 2025, the band became a laureate of the Stara Tradycja competition at Wszystkie Mazurki Świata, one of Poland’s largest traditional culture festivals.
The band consists of eight members, including the famous Belarusian singer and musician Siaržuk Doŭhušaŭ.
